Maji Designs jewelry came into fruition about 5 years ago. In the beginning, my designs were simple and few. My first creations were my Custom Name bracelets. These were popular and satisfied my need to create but still allowed me time to stay at home and raise my daughter. At that time, she was (and still is) my inspiration? Maji is her nickname and so Maji Designs became the name of my small jewelry business

A while later THE SECRET came out. This popular book declared to the world the importance of affirmations and the idea that what we give out in life comes back to us and what we say to ourselves creates our reality. I live (make a conscious effort) to live this way. When I do, my life feels simpler, more loving and the world seems a little kinder.

I decided (made a conscious effort) to incorporate this into my line of jewelry. My affirmational designs give a message to the wearer. Be it a heart, a peace sign, a cross, star of david, budda, an OM sign or an affirmational word like CLARITY, BALANCE OR SERENTIY - these words and symbols give you something to identify with, something personal to the wearer. You will find my styles to be comfortable, casual and everyday wearable. I hope you will also enjoy the other items that I  have also created items that are scattered throughout the site that do not reflect an inspirational message
